Milan - is not just a city. It is the style of life. And I'm not talking only about fashion, it represents one of Italian most industrialized cities with a lot things to see and to do.

If you expect to see small streets with flowers on balconies and Vespa's on roads you will be disappointed by Milan. It's not about Italian past, it's all about its future. If you wanna find historcal stones, ruins, streets and houses - welcome to Naples or Rome. Milan is totally different. Thanks to its wide streets, it gives you an impression of the greatness and bigness of the city. Even though it's quite smaller than Rome, for example, you'll feel like you're in ancient version of New York. Obviously, Milan is not as sizeless as The Big Apple, but certainly can give you a lot of opportunities.

One of the things that surprised me the most in Milan is its cleanliness, even in the most distant parts of the city. You cannot always find it in the south. Instead, Milan looks just like everything is on its place. It feels like it follows its rigid rules and never violates them. Seems like Victorian England, huh? 

Needless to mention people of Milan. Dressed so well, they're not walking, they're flying through the streets. You are probably thinking that I'm talking about all those fashionable it-girls, dressed in Chloè and Lanvin, but you're wrong. I'm talking about simple people with the sense of style, that's all.

My travel companions from Salerno used to repeate "Milan is like another world. It's like you're not in italy when you're here". Probably, I wasn't that shocked by it's greatness, cause I've seen big cities and I'm not so surprised, but to see Milan was a sort of discovery for me. I imagined it smaller. More ancient. More fancy. The reality is that it's a simple, big, clean city with the atmosphere which not everyone could belong to. You should have a milanentality - or the mentality of a Milan-citizen. You should run, get, keep your eyes open and take what you want. If you're not like this - who knows either it will change you or you wouldn't be able to bear with the life like this?... 

ENG: Going to travel? Planning a vacation? Well, it's always a good idea to brighten your daily life exploring a new place and new cultures. But how to make your flight, staying and whole vacation perfect, tirednessless and happy? Here I'm going to share with you guys some useful and helpful tips.

1. Use Airbnb to search for a place to stay in. Here you can contact directly with owners of flats or b&b's and find veeeery attractive prices.

2. Create you own playlist on Soundclour or Spotify that will follow you in any of your adventures!

3. While in the plane, drink a lot, to avoid dehydratation.

4. During a long flight, be sure to have some chewing gums with you... You never know.

5. Be sure to have a portable battery charger for your smartphone, cause it's not always easy to find a place to charge it in an airport or airplane.

6. If you wear contact lenses, be sure to took them off before a flight. Plane's dehydratation might make your eyes feel incredibly uncomfortable.

7. To find low prices for flights, use the website Skyscanner

8. Save some maps on Google Maps offline so that you'll not spend your internet and money on trip.

9. If you're a student, make an ISIC card for you - this is the International Student's Card that gives you a lot of discounts in museums, hostels or restaurants in any part of the world!

10. Plan your outfits. In order to not to bring useless clother and accessories with you, plan your daily outfits beforehead and put in your suitcase only necessary stuff.

Ma come si puo migliorare il tuo volo, soggiorno e la vacanza in generale facendola perfetta, felice e senza stress? Oggi vorrei condividere con voi dei consigli e segreti utili per un viaggio.

1. Utilizzate Airbnb per trovare il posto dove vivere. Li potete contattare direttamente il proprietario del b&b o un appartamento e trovare dei prezzi davvero convenienti.

2. Create un vostro playlist su Spotify o Soundloud che vi accompagnerà durante tutte le voswtre avventure.

3. Mentre state nell'aereo, cercate di bere tanto per evitare disidratazione.

4. Durante un volo lungo, procuratevi delle gomme da masticare... Non si sa mai.

5. Assicurarevi di aver portato una caricabatterie portatile per il vostro smartphone, perchè non è sempre possibile trovare un posto dove potete caricarlo nel aeroporto o aereo.

6. Se indossate le lenti a contatto, toglieteli prima del volo. La disidratazione nell'aereo può creare le sensazioni davvero fastidiosi per vostri occhi.

7. Per trovare biglietti economici per gli aerei, utilizzate il sito Skyscanner.

8. Salvate delle mappe offline su Google Maps per evitare di spendere traffico dell'internet e i soldi sul cellulare.

9. Se sei uno studente scolastico o universitario, procurati la carta internazionale dello studente, o ISIC. Essa ti permette di avere dei sconti sui musei, hostel, o ristoranti in tutto il mondo!

10. Pianifica in anticipo i tuoi outfit, per evitare di portare la roba e gli accessori inutili ed appesantire la valigia.

ENG: Positano - this is one of the few cities that looks better in real life than on postcards and saturated  photographs. It seems that this city is never 'gray' and ordinary, and even in winter, it is full of colors, life and the sun shines brightly.

One of the most important things you should know about Positano - there are very (very very very!) many stairs. If you are going on vacation here, get ready to walk a lot, up and down. What amazes me in Italy, is the fact that even older people here are so full of energy that they are ready to overcome kilometers to city center on foot, they travel little by car, and the inhabitants of cities such as Amalfi or Positano, are simply heroes in my eyes! (maybe, this is why there're no gyms there...)

Despite the fact that at the center of a lot of tourists (be prepared to overcome the traffic jams on the streets!), just climbing on a pair of stairs, you find yourself in a more distant but no less beautiful part of Positano, where you can see the whole city from the high. There are not so many tourists and more relaxed atmosphere.

However, one thing to notice - it's a bit more expensive than Amalfi or Salerno.

Summing up, Positano is definetely the 'must-visit' place of the summer. From the first moment you'll fall in love with its beauty, nature, sun, colors and people!

IT: Positano -  è una delle poche città che sembra meglio nella vita reale che su cartoline e fotografie saturi. Sembra che questa città non sia mai 'grigia' e ordinaria, e anche in inverno è piena di colori, dellala vita e il sole splende ogni giorno.

Nonostante il fatto che al centro ci sono moltissimi turisti (preparatevi a superare il traffico sulle strade!), solo salendo su un paio di scale, ci si puo trovare in una zona più distante, ma non meno bella di Positano, dove si può vedere tutta la città dall'alto. Non ci sono così tanti turisti e l'atmosfera è più rilassata.

L'unica cosa da notare è che Poritana è un po' più cara rispetto ad Amalfi o Salerno.

Riassumendo, Positano è sicuramente un luogo 'da visitare' quest'estate. Dal primo momento vi innamorerete della sua bellezza, la natura, il sole, i colori e la gente!

It's been a year since my last trip to Capri. Truth be told, when I came back, that year seemed do be yesterday and I realized how fast time passes by. Again. Anyway, nothing changed - still those tourists, usual shops and streets, atmosphere of summer, luxe and splendor of this small island. And I fell in love with it again. Last year I had a possibility (and time) to visit only Grotta Azzurra, and this time I took a boat tour that showed me all around the coast, with all its natural arches, numerous caves, crystal-clear water. Another reason why I love this island - its exceptional luxury and feelings that overwhelm my chest when I go into at all deluxe shops, go into the details handmade clothes. Definitely, if I could chose one place to spend summer in, I would choose Capri.

The cities without a sea are just heap of concrete boxes with people in them.

...at least I used to think like this since I've been living in Italy. By now, the sea has become an integral part of me. When you sit in the boat in a few kilometers from the coast, and you look back at that thin strip of land, you think you're so small on such a big sea, in such a big world. In such moments you can't help but stare into that huge amount of water in front of you and all your negative thoughts and worryings pass away. If you don't think so, you should try. This is the best recipe for for ridding yourself of bad thoughts and old problems. Plus, you can feel you can feel an indescribable feeling of unity with nature, when seagulls hover around you, water drops fall on your skin, that is blazing from the sun, while on the ground there's playfully perfect balance of light and shade from the sun setting over the horizon. These're perfect moments.
